Rainy Night...Posted by Addey Kehinde (London, United Kingdom) on 30 September 2006 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. London's been very wet these days (and nights) n' I thought I'd capture some shots on my way home. Here's one of my favourites.

Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumcool shot - great motion 30 Sep 2006 9:22am Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaGreat shot. You've captured a mood. I love these slow-shutter night scenes. 30 Sep 2006 11:34am Ryan Yam from Quezon City, PhilippinesNice shot, it looks like a painting :) Just wondering, how come your shots have no exif data? 30 Sep 2006 3:04pm Addey from London, United Kingdom@jason: Thanks, Jason. I've never tried that before. I'll give it a whirl and see how it turns out. @Damon: Thanks Damon, I was in a taxi on this particular night and thought I try out my new zoom lense this was one of the better shots. I think I'm gonna make a habit of these night shots esp. as I hardly see night shots, apart from buildings. @Ryan: I don't really know much about the exif data issue, but I'll be looking into it. Thanks. 30 Sep 2006 6:47pm Jerry from Chicago, United StatesWow. Great picture! I hope your camera didn't get wet. I like the red'ish in the picture although I am wondering if this was his own umbrella :) 30 Sep 2006 7:54pm Kelvin Chan from New York City, United Statesi like the redish hue, give the picture a mood to it. It's a pity it's a bit blurry (was it handheld?), but like this it looks more like a scene from a movie than a picture. depends on which one you like. nevertheless, nice shot! 30 Sep 2006 8:26pm Suby and Sinem from Milton Keynes, United KingdomI like this capture. 30 Sep 2006 8:42pm Addey from London, United KingdomI was surprised myself, it was handheld. I was in the back of a taxi and had zoomed in through the wet windscreen and wipers through the rain outside to the guy who was on the corner, about 4 or 5 cars away! (The object in the foreground is the rear spoiler of a sports car) Thanks for the kind comments. I'll keep at it. 30 Sep 2006 9:02pm Srinivas Koduri from Visakhapatnam, IndiaGood job done in this considering the comfort in shoot for a perfect one.. Jason suggestion might work well here.. 1 Oct 2006 3:05pm Rodion Kovenkin from Mogilev, BelarusVery very good job! Perfect! 1 Oct 2006 4:59pm |
