Aaah, continuing along the lines of my "experiments"; this is my favourit-est of the bunch. I think I now have a number of ideas for 2007...I now need to get out and shoot more.
Whats experimenral about this shot?

Mainly the post-processing; normally I just mess about with the curves and saturation and the odd layer blend mode. This time I pushed the boat out a bit and started using the channel mixers, fill layers and the high pass filter.
Very pleased with the outcome.

ah, the lonely photog. there are so many of us. nice capture -- i can feel that moment. btw: that guy has cool equipment! the more i look at it, the better it is. that figure in the distance adds intrigue, and the lights...yes! yeah, this is awesome!

cool shot. I like the way he is looking sideways holding his cig. Good capture! Reminds me of a dream I had this morning. I was in New Orleans at 5am wandering around looking at this gigantic moon trying to take photos. I came across a bunch of people waiting in front of a building because at a certain time the moon would be framed perfectly behind the building and all these photographers were sitting around till it happened.
