Interesting angle, but the blueberries seem a little dark.... or are they grapes? anyway, i think if the entire plate of fruits were clearer it'd be better...

@Koushiro: Thanks! I wasn't really feeling this shot, too. To be honest, but I mainly put it down to me not having a thing for berries..

Many thanks for the tip. I'll soon be doing shots further back, that take in the whole bowl. But as I'm still taking these in the kitchen, the worktops don't really compliment the dishes in the shot and I assume it wouldn't really be neat to include the industrial surfaces...but hey, I'm open to experimentation.

I like the angle, showing interesting shapes and patterns. I guess there was no flash? Depending on the type of camera you use, I'd suggest you to try either ambient light w/ rear flash or macro/night mode if available. Let us see how it goes :)
